We had a great experience at Momotaro House. The hosts were very friendly and hospitable. When we came the host offered us excellent Japanese tea. It was so relaxing and quiet in the middle of intensity of travelling in India. The guesthouse was very clean, and mosquito nets were provided, also washing mashine was there. Apart from the rooms, and kitchen, there was an extra living room, with very large balkony, which created homely and cosy atmosphere. Arigatou🙏

We had an amazing stay here, the staff was very friendly and the project that they are supporting with over 700 students to change their local community is inspiring. We left inspired by the children who have been given an opportunity due to the amazing work of the staff here. It was very nice to see and speak with the children during our stay. Two big thumbs up. Additionally, the took great care of us to help organize tours, help us send a package with the India Post, and organize other sightseeing during our stay. We will stay there again and I recommend it to anyone who wants to have a local authentic experience with people making a true change in their community.

Spiritual monuments such as Mahabodhi Temple and The Great Buddha Statue, as well as many other temples, are easily accessible by foot from the guest house. The house is located on one of the quieter streets, which we appreciated especially at night. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The landlord was always willing to help with any problem, guide us to attractions or discuss the history of India. He also invited us to practice yoga in the morning at the beautiful Butterfly Park. The host lady was happy to prepare local specialties for us such as jackfruit. In addition to the hearty and tasty breakfast that was included in the price of our stay, we could order additional delicious food at any time, which was very convenient because we didn't have to leave the accommodation when the weather was very hot. We felt simply at home here. If we ever return to Bodhgaya, we would definitely stay here again.

We stayed 2 nights. the first day we had smooth checking and Gaurav help us to order our lunch. the room and hotel are extremely lovely and it's over our expectations. Godson was a very friendly and worthwhile person.once we checked out he arranged the taxi(tuk tuk) as well.
